The Vic Claims Discussion Group Inc. (VCDG) is excited to unveil the new and improved look of our website. Our goal is for this platform to better serve our members and the broader Victorian claims community into the future. A Brief History of the VCDG

Prior to 2015, a number of ad-hoc seminars were held to give claims professionals the opportunity to network and learn from one another. Inspired by the success of similar events for our underwriting and sales colleagues, the VCDG was officially incorporated on June 16, 2015 to cater to the growing thirst for knowledge and discussion within the claims sector. A forgotten ‘cost centre’ claims is no longer!

Since our inception, the VCDG has grown to a network of approximately 700 claims professionals from insurers, brokers, assessors, solicitors, builders, recovery agents, and other service providers. We've consistently delivered at least six (and up to 10) events per calendar year, covering a range of insurance-related topics. Our annual trivia night remains a highlight, fostering connection and fun within our community.
