About the event
In conflict‑related marine claims, proximate cause determines whether conflict merely shaped the conditions of loss or actually caused it — and that distinction decides coverage. We will explore this topic with some case studies.
Given the current global scenarios with the Persian Gulf conflict, I think this will be a good one to talk about/discuss.
Capt. Harsh has 46 years of experience in the maritime industry and began his career as a deck cadet, serving onboard merchant vessels in various ascending capacities, obtaining his command in 1997. He spent 28 years at sea, 11 of them as a Master on bulk carriers with major global shipping lines.
